Sunday Scribes at Open Book Coffee House, Halifax, Nova Scotia

Sunday August 6, 2023 saw Halifax writers group Words and Whimsy gathering at Open Book Coffee, Halifax for a Sunday Scribes session. It was a lovely afternoon chatting about the whole process of writing, editing and publishing with Louise Michalos (author of Melissa Before Anne), Melanie Mosher ( author of A Beginners Guide to Goodbye and several other books for children), Trish Joudrey (working on her first book, a memoir of her time living and reaching in India). We were joined by the wonderful Clary Croft, author of many books on the folklore of Nova Scotia as well as his fascinating work as a singer, songwriter and folk lorist, Clary's wife Sharon, Joe the owner of Open Book, Teran his new intern, and Ted who came along to ask questions!
